The Nebraska chapter of ISCEBS was officially incorporated in 1989. Since then, the chapter has grown to its current membership of approximately 50 employee benefit professionals - including HR professionals, brokers and consultants, and carrier representatives. Our membership's diversity of backgrounds provides a wide range of perspectives and audiences for our educational sessions, as well as for the leadership of the chapter. Like the International Society, the chapter is a non-profit entity.
Over the years, we have provided CEBS designees and CEBS students with meaningful educational programs, leadership opportunities, and networking options for the mutual benefit of the chapter, its members, and guests. The chapter is in a strong position to continue its mission of being a premier employee benefits organization in the area as we continue to flourish and grow.
Throughout the year we offer educational sessions on various pertinent benefit topics. Members and guests are welcome at all our sessions. We also offer networking events including the December social and a spring and fall coffee gathering. The networking events provide an opportunity to learn more about our chapter and our members. Invites to all these events are sent directly to our members and posted on our website under the events calendar page.
We invite you to take an active role in the chapter through attendance at our programs, and also through service on the chapter's board of directors or committees. If you are interested in serving, please contact us!
